Now 9.22am and clearly BBC expect Starmer to make a resignation statement shortly. With their connections they will know.
if he does go, the BBC faces an indictment. They have played the lead role in forcing the resignation of a leader elected less than two years ago. This is power without accountability. It is a disgrace and an abuse. The BBC must take the lions share of the blame.
